Case management can be described as a cross between social work and life coaching. Once under our case management, Damien Ministries clients receive:
- Guidance on maneuvering through the social services system to receive federal, state, and local services and entitlements
- Housing assistance
- Access to the Damien Ministries food bank
- Health insurance assistance
- AIDS Drugs Assistance Program
- Medical adherence treatment

| CASE MANAGEMENT ELIGIBILITY |
There are two requirements to receive a Damien Ministries case manager. First, potential clients must test positive for HIV. Secondly, the potential client must be a Washington, DC resident. Clients are often referred to us through other service organizations, but phone calls from potential clients are also accepted. To receive a case manager, a client may:
- Be referred through a social worker, counselor, or other case manager
- Call Damien Ministries at (202)526-3020 and dial extension 15, 16, or 19
- If already a food bank client, you may set up an appointment around your scheduled food bank appointment
- Visit Damien Ministries Monday through Friday, 10:00am to 6:00pm
